Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well blended.
In a separate bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, and oil. Mix until smooth.
Gradually fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, combining until everything is moistened.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into each muffin cup, filling them about 2/3 full.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Once baked, cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
