- Gently fold the edges of the puff pastry inward to create a rustic border. Brush the edges with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
